![]() ![]() The main characters are BK and Mia, two best friends stranded underground with the rest of the townsfolk of Donut County. The story switches between two time periods: the present, where a ton of the city’s residents are stranded 999 feet underneath the city, and the past, explaining what each citizen was doing before he/she fell into the abyss. The townsfolk believe it’s a donut delivery service, and are only slightly surprised when an animate hole arrives and starts sucking up all their belongings, from grass and lawn ornaments to their entire home with them in it (you think they’d be more concerned, but they just stand there and wait to be consumed). You play as a cheeky raccoon who is a special kind of delivery person, one that delivers holes to townsfolk via his super advanced tablet. ![]() The summary above is no doubt completely ridiculous, but it should do a pretty good job at helping you understand Donut County‘s wacky premise. Now imagine, instead of a delicious donut at your doorstep, it’s a destructive hole preparing to devour you and plunge you into the depths of the earth. Imagine having a warm, sprinkle-coated delicacy delivered whenever you want one. That’s a genius idea of course, but here’s one that has yet to catch on for those who aren’t cookie people: door-to-door donuts. You’ve probably heard of the newest craze: cookies delivered right to your door. ![]()
